We have a client who is one of the largest multimedia
providers in the world. This can be a big solution sale, ranging from £5000
to £millions and is sold to the largest companies in the UK. For this kind
of solution, the sales consultants are best utilised in front of customers and
closing deals. However, managing the pipeline of business and sales prospects,
including cold calling was something that was being asked of them, and hence reducing
their effective time selling to customers. The requirement was to maximise
the effectiveness of their sales people through employing Novacheck to undertake
the following:
- Build a marketing database from scratch to support direct
marketing activities - Generate attendees for 2 breakfast briefings a per quarter. The
breakfast briefings were used to facilitate face to face interaction between the
sales consultants and the prospects. This gave them a significant boost along
the sales process and hence shortening the time to order. So we got on the
phone and started getting up to date contacts in their target market. Once this
database had been established, it was much simpler to target contacts with the
appropriate messages. This resulted in some extremely high calibre contacts being
invited, registering and subsequently attending the breakfast briefings. In
total, Novacheck generated 250 attendees for the events over the 2 briefings,
with 130 actually attending. In addition to these tangible results, the
client also ended up with a database of over 3,500 contacts involved in Multimedia
delivery - a database that is simply not available for commercial purchase anywhere.
